University Outreach

Each year CREECA sponsors a variety of events on the UW-Madison campus, including lectures, film series, musical performances, art exhibits, conferences, and workshops. The majority of these are open not only to the university community, but to the general public as well. Occasionally, when CREECA brings a musical group or a particularly well-known speaker to campus, we arrange demonstrations or lectures in classes with relevant subject matter. Additionally, CREECA has a wide network of faculty affiliates at colleges and universities throughout Wisconsin and in surrounding states. We regularly invite our faculty affiliates to make presentations in Madison. Likewise, CREECA faculty affiliates call upon CREECA for help setting up workshops, finding speakers on various topics, and generally sharing information.

CREECA is always seeking new partner institutions. If we can be of assistance locating speakers, providing education materials, or anything else related to Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia, please contact the CREECA outreach coordinator.
