Welcome to the CREECA Lending Library

The CREECA lending library was founded to make a variety of classroom materials and other resources
available to individuals and organizations which may not currently enjoy the privilege of borrowing from other collections. Items from the CREECA lending library are available for loan free of charge. Borrowers will be required to complete a brief registration form and to cover only the return postage and insurance charges. Items will be shipped via UPS one week before the requested date, where possible.

You may borrow up to five items at a time for one week each. Exceptions may be made to accommodate requests for materials that will be needed over the course of an academic semester or year, as well as for video series which include more than five tapes.

For the convenience of our staff, we ask that you request materials at least five working days in advance. Due to limited staffing resources, we cannot guarantee same-day service to walk-in borrowers. All requests will receive written confirmation, sent via electronic mail, when possible.

Due to the popularity of certain items in the collection, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be available on the requested dates. You are encouraged to submit requests as far in advance as possible. The due date for borrowed items will be clearly indicated by means of a card attached to each item. You are responsible for returning the materials by the due date via UPS or First Class mail to the address below. Materials not received by the due date will be considered late. CREECA reserves the right to suspend borrowing privileges to those who consistently return materials late or otherwise misuse this service.

We ask that you take the time to rewind borrowed videos and to verify that all requested materials are accounted for prior to returning them.

Also, please complete the evaluation form shipped with each requested item. These forms help us to evaluate and maintain the condition, value, and popularity of materials in our collection.
