CREECA offers three academic programs for graduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition, CREECA supports year and summer Foreign Language Area Studies (FLAS) grants, as well as facilitating and coordinating research and community outreach on Russia and the countries of East Europe and Central Asia.

| Graduate Certificate |
The Graduate Certificate allows Ph.D. candidates in other fields to gain additional specialization and qualification in REECAS area studies. |
